Hyundai Vereeniging Damaged My Car
I took my car in for repairs, when I collected the car then it had a deep scratch on the bumper. I showed it to the lady that was helping me. That night I checked the scratch and it looked like someone tried to cover it with touch up paint. I went to Hyundai again a few days later to complete the repairs that had to be done. The workshop manager could find no photos of the scratch, indicating that it was there the first time I took the car in. Hyundai said that they would repair the bumper and they would need the car for 2 days. I was planning leave the end of May and I advised them that I would contact them when I go on leave because I have no alternative transport, they told me that it is fine. Last week I phoned them to book my car in, however they kept telling me that they would call me back. This happened a few times last week Thursday and Friday - they did not return my calls. Why did Hyundai tell me that they would repair it if they never planned to stick to their word? If it got damaged when I was driving it the why did the scratch have touch-up paint on it? This is extremely poor service, I plan to drive this car for many more years and I look after it very well. I am not happy at all. Firstly, is my car safe in their hands? Secondly, will they meet their commitment to repair my car properly when I take it in? They don't seem to abide by their commitment to be honest in their dealings. I am sorry to say that they have disappointed me terribly. I have been driving a Hyundai's for the last 12 years and almost all repairs and services have been done by them.
