Hyundai the Glen is the worst service center ever.

Dear Hyundai. I would like to start my email by saying that I already don’t expect my complaint to be taken seriously or it would be met with the same don’t care attitude that it was met with when I addressed this with the staff of Hyundai the glen on Saturday. I had booked my car in for a service on Saturday (24/08). The check-in process went smoothly until I received a call from Winnie (the service department lady). She informs me that the front brakes of my car were worn and needed replacement. I had asked her for the price and had then told the lady to go ahead and replace. She informed me that they don’t have stock and that I would need to bring the car in on another day. I said that’s fine.

I then asked if there was anything else wrong with the car, she had a check and said that the fuel filter, which is part of the standard service, wasn't in stock and that I would need to bring the car in on another day. I said that’s fine. I knew the battery was an issue with the car, which I was hoping to have replaced on the day. I then had to ask the lady if there was a problem with the battery, she had to check again and told me yes, there was a problem. I had then told the lady to go ahead and replace only to be told that there wasn't any in stock.

But that’s not the worst part. When I received the car back it had a warning light on the dashboard stating that the "high level brake light" was gone. Later on in the day when I opened my boot I found the fitting for the brake light hanging loose. When I tried to fit it back I have noticed that somebody had tried to replace the lightbulb with an incorrect bulb type and tried to get away with it.(I have attached a picture of what I found) Hyundai obviously has something fishy going on internally that needs to be investigated. Let me start by asking, as a service centre why do you not keep service parts? Does your team not see what cars are being brought in for a service? Should you not make sure you have parts to conduct a standard car service. It is very well know that Hyundai in general has terrible customer service but at least have parts for a car's standard service. Secondly, how do you return a client’s car back with more warning lights than when it was booked in? I was neither informed of the warning nor was I told about any brake light issue. The problem was definitely caused in the workshop and somebody tried to cover it up.

It seems like the staff Hyundai the glen doesn’t have brains in stock either.
