Hyundai SA Don't care about their Costomers

I’m not happy with the service I’m getting from Hyundai . This is happened more than twice. During December I took in the car as I experienced the grease under the engine. I was advised that the CV boot has snapped.Consultant told me that all of their suppliers have closed and I will only get the part January. I told Bashkaran that im planning to go home on the 27/12/2020.He then referred me to a certain dealer located in Randburg to go and source the part. I told him that I’m not sure about that dealer then I decided not to go to Limpopo to be with my family as it was too risky for me and my wife and kids to travel with that car at that state.

I had to wait for my car parts to be order .I was returning to work on the 06 January 2020 and I made a follow up by calling to check if the part was delivered so I can bring the car for repairs. Another consultant answered my call and i asked for Bashkaran then I was told that he has already knocked off and then I left a message that I was checking if my CV boot was delivered.

Two day went pass and the I’m made another follow up which I was told that Bashkaran went to the Doctor as he was not feeling well and if he come back he will give me a call. Another day went pass and in the morning the following day I call around 07H10 and asked for Bashkaran and they told me that he is not allowed to take calls as he is busy with clients and then I asked that person that it is very urgent and I need to speak to him and I’m also a client. The person who took my call offered to take a message then he will get back to me.

I never got any call from Bashkaran till in the afternoon I made the second call then I spoke to him and I was again disappointed to here that he didn’t place an order for my CV boot. I explained to him that I’m having a knock when turning the car and this is now more risky than before. He told me to come tomorrow morning to bring the car again for assessment so he can push the claim to the insurance.

I took the car in then they assessed it and now only to find out that the knock when turning is the CV and also the drive shaft. He then push the claim to my Insurance and it was approved for R5000,00. He later called me with that information and he advised me that the claim is approved for R5000,00 and the cost is equivalent to R19000,00.I then asked him that if the boot was fixed immediately this issues was not going to happen. I advised him that I don’t have that cash to pay the balance and more especially it was the dealer ‘s negligent. He then told me that he will speak to his Manager and the service foreman for resolution. He then send a driver to come collect my vehicle as they still need to discuss the matter.

The following day I got a call from Bashkaran telling me that the other option is to take out the drive shaft and go to reverb it somewhere then the cost will fall within the budget that the insurance is paying. I agreed with the solution. He then told me that it will take more maximum of a week to fix my car. I then told him that as you know that nature of my job I have to be mobile at all time as I can get a call out even mid night. He then told me that he will see if he can get a courtesy car while they are busy repairing the car. I asked him if is there any warrantee on that reverb and may I kindly request him to put it in writing so that when the insurance ask I can back myself up. He then started to raise his voice to me and told me that he is doing me a favour .

I then escalated the matter to Hyundai SA for resolution and i spoke to Elizabeth and he did forward the my complain to the dealer but now they are refusing to assist me with that reverberating option .

I’m currently driving a car that is not in a good condition and my dealership is having more than a month to replace a inner CV boot.My life is in danger and im not sure what to do anymore as my dealer is failing to help

Hyundai SA was notified about the matter but did nothing to resolve the matter.

Hope to hear from you sooner

Regards
