Hyundai not conforming to marketing adverti*****ts
Good morning
I have my Hyundai Tucson Premium 2017 model. I bought this car in March 2020 and still paying for it. It had engine breakdown last year 2022 of which was diagnosed as had Oil Pump failure. I contacted Hyundai Newcastle because for assistance as the car was still under 200kms and less than 7 years as per company policy means under warranty. But to my suprise I was told that I have to buy new engine which will cost R78000 at that time plus labour which all totalled up to 98000.
I then referred the case to their head office. After two weeks I received an email stating they have inestigated the matter and resolution was they cannot assist me. I then took my car for repairs by Newcastle Auto Engineers. It costed me R40000 and was without a car for 8 months.
I find it unfair as for me it looks as if Hyundai uses false marketing.
Please Help because I heard of Ombudsmen but don't how to contact. I
