Hyundai, endless sorrow,continues BULL****

Let's start with poor service. Hyundai Nelspruit has got the worst. 1. I once booked a service, postponed it by two weeks and they phonedme saying that they don't have a drive belt after which they said they've ordered it and will phone me when they have it... They never phoned to notify me. I phoned them, where they **** and said they had sent me an sms. 2.The same Nelspruit Franchise.. I booked my Veloster in for a boot latch failure. After 5hours they phoned me and said it's irreparable.. I went and asked to speak to the mechanic.. Asked him what was wrong. His response '' it did nit want to open ''... Well no ****!!!! That's why it's here you sod!! After explaining that I wanted to know what he saw inside the mechanism he assured me that it's a sealed unit..One day I took a ten spanner and removed the latch device myself, un*****ed the latch cover plate and saw that the gears overturned.. I re-adjusted the spring on the gear and Bob's your uncle. 3. Before I even took the car to Nelspruit they had a bad reputation so I took the day off and drove to Lydenburg. I had noticed a knocking sound on the DCT gearbox on the Veloster. After a whole day and being **** to by the shop about the car being in the washbayfor two ****** hours.. I spoke to the mechanic to find ou what he saw... He said that he had started the car and listened for the noise but there was nothing. Him not knowing that I am a Millwright by trade tried to tell me that he did check the torque converter oil level... ???? Guess what, I started laughing at him because a DCT gearbox is worlds apart from a fluid drive torque converter. He even went and got his hyundai manual to show me what he was talking about.. Then I told him that he can't bull**** me because DUEL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION has no fluids to top up!!! Anyway 800kms later the flywheel disintegrated and the gearbox failed while I was on Holiday. You'd think I would get a courtesy car after all my trouble... Just a big fat No.. I phoned Hyundai SA explaining the matter all they did was hush me and said how sorry they were.

4.going for the 90000km service.. After handing the car back to me I checked the receipt.. No cam chain change.. After asking them.. They said they only change it if it's noisy. I ask you how does it make sense taking a chance like that Hyundai??? You know the effects of that thing snapping don't you?? 105000km service came and went. Still no cam chain replacement... And now on almost 11300km ons Wednesday 24 July 2019 I was left on the road. Piston 3 missing and con-rod picked up 500m away from where I pulled off.

At least after the first set of Bull**** I was fed by Hyundai Lydenburg I took the time and effort to extend my warranty and service plan..

Hyundai should at least get to know their customers before trying to bull**** them.. You could have fooled any other 24year old but not a trained Electromechnician.

I will never buy a Hyundai, Kia, Renault or any other vehicle that is serviced by your Multifranchise. And I'll spread the word to all my colleagues and friends.

The worst of the worst is that I contacted Hyundai SA on their Facebook page. They said that they appreciated my input and that would get back to me.. That was in 2018...still waiting.

Such great Customer Service.
