Hyundai Dealerships Not To Be Trusted
I bought my Accent with a warranty plan. The dealership assured me it covered all repairs and parts, with exception of tire replacement. I was not given my warranty booklet until after I signed the contract. The dealership has since closed, and now I'm told that the warranty doesn't cover soft parts. I'm told by SA Corporate that the dealership was closed because of similar incidents, so there doesn't seem to be any doubt as to the validity of my claim. However, Corporate are unwilling to take responsibility for the dishonesty in it's dealerships, and therefore will not make good on the promises made to me by it's dealerships and I will have to pay for the repair/replacement of a part of my car which has broken (after less than 3 years buying it brand new). I also struggled to get there service outlets to replace the faulty battery (which they refused to accept was faulty, until I put my foot down on the 3rd time I raised the issue when it went in for service). When dealing with Hyundai dealerships, make sure you read everything before you sign, because their salesmen will say anything to close the deal and corporate will not take responsibility for the lies that are told to you
