Hyundai Centurion

Took my car in for a service at Hyundai Centurion last week. My car has been making a scratching noise upon take off and braking and asked them to have a look. Was told that my top shock mounting needed to be replaced at a cost of R7300. I declined. The noise stopped as soon as I picked up my car from the service. I took it to another mechanic for second opinion today, was told that there was absolutely nothing wrong (suspects noise was from brake pads that needed replacing-which were replaced at the service). If the top shock mounting was to be replaced, this mechanic would only charge R2800. 1st off it appears to me as though Hyundai gave me false information and secondly the high cost if they were actually to be replaced is ridiculous. Feel completely ********** and will never take my car back there again.
