Hyundai Bryanston *****ulent & Misrepresentation Dealings

I did not have a pleasant experience with this dealership. I received a link for Motus group which they informed me I could browse through and select the car I wanted irrespective of location. Upon doing so; I was informed the car is available and had my documents and application put through. Throughout the day, I was then sent pictures of different vehicles, at a higher price and higher mileage which left me confused as I’d given permission for the car I wanted to be app**** for via finance. After the fourth alternative car I’d received, I asked them to be upfront with me on what’s going on as I didn’t ask for alternatives but for the vehicle I chose. I was first told they not seeing the vehicle on their side and later told they can’t get ahold of the other dealership so it might be sold.

After some time, I realised the deal is probably not feasible for the dealership, hence the alternatives being sent. I then addressed it and asked why my application was put through with them telling me “our finance team will call you shortly” every 30 mins I kept enquiring, when they knew they had no intention of selling me the car I wanted but instead were looking to sell my what’s on their floor.

After calling the sales person out (Mahlatse) I got a nonchalant thumbs up to my expression of dissatisfaction and more importantly the *****ulent enquiry that was made on my name, ultimately reducing my credit score.

The customer service was just atrocious and left me hesitating to deal with other dealerships going forward because it’s clear sales people DO NOT listen to customer needs but instead, put their needs first.
