Horrible experience from Hyundai
My wife and I traveled to Limpopo on Saturday to fetch our kids who have been away since school holidays with my parents. On our way back we got stuck on the road between my home and Louis Trichard. We then called Road Side assistance and got assistance in having the car towed to the nearest Hyundai dealership (Louis trichard). We were told that the part has been ordered and that they would advise on ETA. They could not help us with a lift home nor assist with a courtesy vehicle at this stage. We then took public transport back to my parents house. on Wednesday mind you we had to be back at work on Monday we got a call from Hyundai Louis Trichard saying the part is only expected at the end of May 2020. At this stage all we are trying to do is get back to JHB but they still cannot assist with a courtesy car, Roadside assist cannot move the car to Hyundai Strydompark so we don't have to comeback to Limpopo, Hyundai customer care cannot assist us with any means of transport or for us to get back to Gauteng. My question is if the car still has warranty and we are now stuck in Limpopo without means of getting back to work whats the use of paying for all these services. The worse part is nobody from the dealer, roadside assist and customer care seems to give a damn about our situation and the fact that we wont have a car for 30 days. Why can the car not be moved to a place closer to where we stay (Hyundai Strydompark ) so we dont have to comeback to Limpopo due to lock-down issues ? I honestly expected a bit more fro a company that prides itself on their customer service. This is worse than the french car service I traded in for this car.
