Horrible attitude and customer service from the service bookings department
I would like to extend my deepest disappointment on how I have was treaedt by the Branches personnel’s; i.e. : SERVICE ADVISORS: - Prelin Naidoo - who failed to assist and give truthful response regarding service to be provided - - Cyndi Mabaso - who failed to communicate with me when I dropped of the vehicle and during the day’s proceedings to inform me about the challenges they are facing as she indicate that she didn’t have my details which left me stranded in the streets SERVICE MANAGER - Elvaro Camacho who requested me to bring the vehicle in and it will be serviced, later he did not bother to follow-up or explain to me when the vehicle was not attended. - Wisani Makamu who Told me not contact him with any service related issues as he was not here when the car was sold to me.
On Monday the 9th of June 2025, I called the dealership to book the car in for service with the kilometers at 143 000, I spoke to Prelin who indicated that the vehicle cannot be brought in at those kilometers, I drove down to the Branch to get to understand the reasons why I cannot be served/serviced, Upon arrival I spoke to Prelin who then referred me to Wisani Makamu “Pre used car sales manager”, who then referred me to Elvaro Camacho,”Service manager” After having to explain myself why I brought the car in those km’s, I was told the following by Elvaro that: - He understands where I come from and the error was no on my side but the dealerships - I should bring the car in for service on Wednesday the 11th of June 2025 and it will be serviced and adjusted properly on the service book. - an arrangement will be made with Liquid capital to approve and I should not be concerned. On Wednesday the 11th of June 2025 I arrived at the dealership at 7:30am and the vehicle was inspected by Cyndi Mabaso who indicated that all is in order, and I will be contacted once the vehicle is ready for collection after it being serviced, (She did not inform me that I won’t be picked up once I am expected to collect the vehicle) I was transported to my workplace and dropped off around 8:00am, no arrangements for collection took place with the driver. In the afternoon at 16:15 seeing that I am not being contacted nor communicated to by anyone, I called the Branch to enquire why the delay, The call was answered by Cyndi who then informed me that the vehicle was not serviced as they could not get it funded by Liquid Capital. I then asked why I was not informed on time and what were the intension as they had to wait for me to reach out, she told me she did not have my details to enable her to call me. I requested to be picked up and I got to be told at that point, that such arrangements are not available at the Branch “Clients are dropped off at their destinations once they drop off the vehicle but not picked up to collect” I asked how am I expected to get the dealership as I didn’t make any arrangements with anyone, and I was told I will have to figure it out by myself. I struggled up until I got assisted by a colleague who then dropped me off at the dealership at around 5:15pm. To my surprised no one cared to explain in detail what really happened and what the actual issue is, why was the vehicle not serviced, instead I was only given my car keys by Cyndi to take the vehicle home with me. No advise nor guidance on anything, I was again left to figure it out by myself. I took the vehicle keys, and I drove off, no one cared to get to understand whether I am happy with the serviced received or not.
I am deeply hurt and disappointed in how I was treated by the Branch staff and want this matter to be resolved and a matter of urgency.
