Has Hyundai ever heard of COVID?
To the service adviser at your Paarden Island branch, who didn't look up from his phone call, to acknowledge my presence, in 15 minutes this morning and to the service manager who got upset with me when I asked why there is no one to help me: I have 3 COVID comorbidities. I was already extremely stressed that I HAD to bring my car for an annual service when I hardly ever leave my house, not even for shopping. I mailed *** to ask if it was possible to postpone the service without losing my motor plan. I mailed your branch to ask if you would be able to drop and collect me, since you have no shuttle service and I am too scared to take an Uber. You failed to acknowledge either of my mails. Then again, I have discovered over the last 2 years that Hyundai personnel never read or answer emails. But to go to your workshop and you let me stand there for 15 minutes, while there are several people sitting in your waiting area… If you were me, you would also be traumatized and upset! During these times, you need to ensure fast turnaround times at your counter! And by the way a generally accepted rule of conduct for customer service, is that you deal with customers in front of you instead of sitting on long telephone calls. Every minute in your workshop is a risk to my life!
