False faults on Tuscon quote for Aprox R40000

Took in vehicle for 150 000km service and was called to saying the car had the following defects<br> - Power steering was leaking power steering fluid R27000 for a new rack<br> - Shock paddle R9000<br> - reverse light switch and globes to be replaced<br> - mounting bracket etc etc<br> - brakes, shocks<br> <br> I then told the service consultant to not do anything. I then received a call from Huyndai Springfield offering me a discount on the price.<br> Following day I received a call from a car sales man from Hyundai Springfield trying to sell me a car. DISPICABLE COMPANY!!<br> Took my car to Land Rover mechanics<br> <br> And they found no leak on Power steering!!!! <br> Reverse light switch was not connected properly, globes were working. So no new switch required.<br> <br> They did front & rear brakes<br> Shocks both front, mountings, radiator bracket renewed<br> Wipers<br> Wheel alignment/ balancing<br> Realigned my bonnet - all for a Fraction of what Hyundai quoted.<br> <br> This could happen to others. <br>
