**** warranty on your Hyundai (Bellville)

If you where wondering how great it was to have a warranty on you car for 200000 km/7 years, well they are lying to each and every one of you. If you buy you car that promise that Hyundai is making about you having a long warranty is absolutely BS. You buy your car and turn around the real truth is coming out.

I am so disappointed in the resend feedback from Hyundai Bellville. That I would have never bought my car in the first place.

What happened was that after doing some research and asking around, was that I will never loose my warranty when I want to service my car at another place as long as they where RMI registered. So after buying my car I did my 45k service at Hyundai Bellville and they have ask me a ridiculous amount of money. I decided to service my car 60k and 75k at a Mechanic that was RMI registered. A Place where they only work on the mechanical side of the car and not the body.

A few days ago I found out that at the back of my car the paint started to lift up underneath the back window as there was an adhesive problem. I called Hyundai Bellville (not knowing what I know now). The lady told me that the warranty will cover the damages and she will send my pictures to the necessary people to look at and am I willing to wait a while so that they can give me a car to drive around. My response was very polite, as this was the service at Hyundai as spectated. After she told me she will grab my service history from their system. Feeling weird, bercause how will she know what my service history is. So I told her but the last two services I had was at another place. So she told me that then the warranty will not be granted. Back and forward we Go and I told her but as my knowledge the warranty of the car does not affect where I service my car, as long as it is RMI registered. So she ask me if she could mail me back as she wanted to found out her self if it works like that.

She mailed me back telling me that the warranty is not granted anymore and it only covers the basics and the drive train. I mean how can a Warranty of Hyundai only covers a few things know.

So I called my mechanic telling him that Hyundai Bellville told me that the warranty is not there any more so know I can not fix my boot weak paint spot. He gave me RMI number in Parow so know I am in contact with them. They Also feel that being RMI registered will not influence your warranty, but Hyundai feels it does. According to RMI, why will Hyundai not fix a paint mistake if the car was at a mechanic, they are not even touching my Paint work. RMI is know on this case.

So for all of you considering a Hyundai as a car to drive around, the wonderful warranty that they are promising is absolutely BS and ****. I bought my car for this reason and I will never consider buying a Hyundai again as the promises is as their warranty.
