Either utterly *********** or systemically dishonest.. take your pick!

<p>I work in Strijdom Park and last week as I was reversing out of my parking bay at work I heard a loud crack and I realized that my steering column was completely upside down from where it should be. I managed to drive it to Hyundai in Strijdom Park where they duly fixed it after a couple of days. When I collected the car after paying the exhorbitant fee of R7700, immediately as I drove out of the workshop I heard this knocking noise. I drove it straight back and insisted that it felt like something was loose from the work they had done. They looked at it and told me that it was in fact my top shocks that had suddenly gone and that it was in fact going to cost me another R7300 to fix. You can imagine how upset I was. But something didn't feel right about their diagnosis. So I went back in the morning and spoke to the parts manager and the workshop guys and I said something didn't feel right about it. So they said they would have a look and I left my car with them. They called me to say that it was the top shocks and quoted the R7300. I rejected their quote and left devastated. What to do? Then my friend told me about Car Service City. So I took it there the following morning. The guy got straight under the car in front of us and took exactly 10 minutes to fix what I thought was wrong in the first place- that something was loose from the installation that they did at Hyundai. He confirmed that the shocks are fine and now my car is perfect with no knocks. So what do you think? Deliberately dishonest and thinking I am just a stupid female who will never know better or utterly ***********? You take your pick. Either way a big thumbs down for Hyundai Strijdom Park. Guess where I am servicing my car from now on!!</p>
