Does not honour maintenance plan
08.01.2018, I had taken my vehicle ('12 Hyundai Elantra 1.8 GLS) for it's 105000km service. I have an extended maintenance plan till 120000km/April 2019. In December 2017 I had all 4 of my tyres changed and did a mandatory shock test which revealed the all 4 of my shock absorbers needed replacing. When I approached Hyundai Pinetown (I did my interval service with them), I indicated that I have a shock test report, the service foreman disregarded the test report and used his discretion to conclude that my shocks are fine. To be frank, I trust specialised equipment that are specifically designed to test integrity of vehicle shocks rather than someone who clearly is not qualified to make an assessment. Shocks are a integral part to a vehicle's suspension and I refuse to put my family's lives at risk because some bumbling fool thinks his assessment is superior to that of specialised equipment worth 10 of thousands which sole purpose is to test shocks.
