Do not purchase vehicles from Hyundai Car Dealer, Vredenburg

Be careful when buying a car from Huyndai Car Dealers, Vredenburg. I bought a second hand 2009 vehicle (Peugeot 207) for over R100 000 in July 2017. Two weeks later the battery gave in and withing the next 3-5 months thereafter the following problems: remote faulty, water bottle have wrong cap, windscreen wipers torn, coilpacks to be replaced, turbo broke, waterpipe overflow (broken), smoke coming from bonnet, one front light dim, sparkplugs replaced twice already. Suggestion from the Dealer Principle at that time "sell the car on Gumtree". I am now commuting with alternative transport to work 50km's from home as the vehicle is unreliable after the sales lady promised with only 63 000km's on the clock its basically like new and perfect for a female! Car was not serviced before sale as the dealership reckoned there was no need for it. I got stuck on the side of the N1, Cape Town 5 times during the first 4 months after the purchase of the vehicle due to above problems. My only mistake was that I trusted the dealership as I live in Cape Town and could not check the vehicle myself before purchase in Vredenburg. In total my vehicle was out of use for 68 days since my purchase 7 months.
