Do i only get help from a Hyundai dealer if i purchase the car at that specific dealership????

Hi bought a Hyundai in December form Fountains in PTA my number plates was delivered month later i was told i can go to any Kia or Hyundai to have it installed i went pass the Hyundai in Lenasia as it close to where i live i was first told the work shop are very busy i have to wait than i was told their don't have to *****s to to install my plates
