Disgusting Customer Treatment

on the 30th of January 2025 I booked my car in at Hyundai Plumstead for a paint inspection due to my paint peeling on my Hyundai i20. When I took my car in on the 5th of Feb they proceeded with the inspection and I was promised by the warranty clerk that I will receive feedback within 2-3 weeks with regards to my claim. After more than 2 months of not hearing anything from the dealership I gave them a call only to find out that the warranty clerk had resigned. I asked if the claim could still be submitted since the inspection had already been completed and they advised that they were not able to do so and I will have to bring my car in for another inspection however the soonest availability that they had was only in July 2025. the next Hyundai dealership that was closest to me was Hyundai Paarden Eiland. on the 15th of April I made a booking to bring my car in for another paint inspection on the 29th of April 2025. again the warranty clerk promised that O will receive feedback within 2-3 weeks. on Monday the 5th of may I spoke to the warranty clerk to confirm if everything is in order and find out if they had received the quotation from the autobody repair shop, she confirmed that she had received the quotation and that the claim will be submitted in the next few days. 2 weeks later on the 19th of may 2025 I spoke to the warranty clerk again only to find out that my claim was not yet submitted that that it will be submitted in the next few days. I Gave them time and called back on the 23rd of June 2025 only to find out that my claim had not yet been submitted and again I was promised by the warranty clerk that she will get feedback for me by the end of the week. on the 9th of July 2025 after not receiving any feedback I called Hyundai customer care who then called the warranty clerk at Paarden Eiland only to find out that that my claim had still not been submitted and AGAIN I was promised that it was gonna be submitted that same day. Now TODAY on the 15 of July I still have no answer and when I tried to call the warranty clerk the phone just rings.

Its been more than 6 months that I have been battling Hyundai with this peeling paint and it has gotten substantially worse since I have taken it for an inspection. the car has depreciated significantly in value because of the peeling paint and I wont even be able to get trade in value for it. This is absolutely Disgusting behavior and as a result I will never buy or recommend the brand to anybody in the future.
