Disapointed !!!!

My mom bought a Hyundai I10 Grand from Hyundai Boksburg – the car was bought end of October 2016. It has since broken 3 x (CD player broken, petrol gages and radio, petrol leaks) – for a brand new car this should not be happening ? Correct ? Unless there is a technical fault/issue that was not addressed prior to the purchase perhaps ?

This was reported to Hyundai (LILLY ********** ) and my mother was told to take the car to Welkom Hyundai to have it fixed, after 3 attempts the BRAND NEW car still has the same problem. How is it that Hyundai Welkom ”fixed” (it is not fixed, as mentioned above)the car, without requesting payment upfront and/or proceeding to actually fix the vehicle ? What arrangement was made from Hyundai East Rand (Boksburg) with Hyundai Welkom – was an arrangement made…..since Hyundai Welkom did not demand payment for the work to be done/already done ?

Hyundai Welkom is now wanting to sue my mom for payment for fixing this car, however this car is brand new and under warranty….or, so my mom was told.

Lilly informed us that the car can be registered as a 2017 model to close the deal (basically told my mom what she wanted to hear) and now she is being threatened to make payment on the car WELKOM fixed, but it’s still broken – not once was my mom informed that her car is not under warranty if registered in 2017 – my mom was promised the moon stars and sun just so this girl could make a deal – never mind the other embarrassing goods my mom had to endure whilst trying to purchase the car- I have spoken to the DP in Welkom and he informed me that the BRANCH who sold the car must pay for all the repairs on this vehicle as they made false promises which couldn’t be kept, as apparently what LILLY did is not allowed, however her manager at HYUNDAI Boksburg approved this as well (Mandy)? I expect someone to call me and sort this out as I don’t take kindly to be threatened if the fault is not on my side.

Quite frankly – this matter can be sorted and should be sorted between HYUNDAI EAST RAND AND HYUNDAI WELKOM, however, I expect SWIFT action and feedback regarding this matter, alternatively I am sure HYUNDAI HEAD OFFICE can assist.
