Delayed referral benefit

I referred a friend to Hyundai Pinetown and the purchase of grand i10 was successful the salesman promised me referral benefits which he said it's gonna be cash since last year November till now iv been asking him with no luck. it's not my first time referring customers just that I didn't know about the referral benefit before. Not that I am after money, but why would they lie or even take this long, almost 3 months now? Please help. so I can even continue to bring more customers as I normally do, even myself I bought 2 cars from Hyundai, it's my best brand. I feel like I am now a burden to the salesman for keeping on asking him now and again.
