Cheating and lying

The warranty Hyundai sells, is sold with the promise that if your car breaks down, they will tow it in for free, and repair it, obviously also for free.

When the ignition switch on my I20 stopped working, i called for their roadside assistance, and the tow truck came on time. The driver, named Chad, remarked that it was fortunate that the steering wasn't locked, so that it was easier for him to position the I20 to get it onto the truck. He actually tried to start the car, and found the ignition switch defective. (there are two other people who also tried, and were unsuccessful - 4 of us, in all)

So far so good......

Later that day, Hyunday informed me that there was nothing wrong with the car, and they would have to charge me for the towing service.

I had an argument with the workshop manager (a singularly unhelpful person!), who said he would get the branch manager to call me. When i phoned later the day to enquire about the promised call from the branch manager, I was treated with such disdain, which is really unacceptable! The unfriendly switchboard lady also promised that she would get him to call me. The next business day, I had similar problems getting the branch manager to speak to me. The lady in the service department (of the crowd at Milnerton theh ONLY helpful person) even sent an e-mail for him to call me.

Later that day, it was made clear to me that the only way I would get my car back, was to pay the towing-in fee - something which at the beginning of my relationship with Hyundai was promised to be FOR FREE.

I have been ******** of R969-00, I have been treated like a ********, I have been promised phone calls which still has not arrived, and therefore I am totally DISGUSTED with Hyundai Milnerton.

My name is Oscar, and my phone number is attached. Lets see if Mr Branch Manager, or ANYONE at Hyundai will find it wothwhile to give me a call!
