braking system burnt down

Good day <br> To whom it may concern. <br> <br> We have a hyundai getz 1.6 AUTO. 2007 model. We have baught this vehicle brand new and its a lady driven car. Vehicle was last serviced by hyundai as we purchased the extended service plan. The car is now doing 120 000 km. On tuesday the 10.02.2015 my dad drove the vehicle and when he reached his destination he saw smoke coming out from the front of the car. When he oppened the engine cover he saw fire. He managed to put the fire off and towed the car to the mechanic for safe keeping. The mechanic had a look and advised that the abs breaking system burnt out. NOW we have done research on the part as hyunday wants R50 000 to fix which we don't have to fix the car. The internet shows that hyundai in UK called back all hyundai getz to fit in a earthing wire on the breaking system as it was a manufacturing fault. Hyundai south africa did not call our vehicles in hence the part burnt and we should have lost the whole vehicle due to the fire that happen. We are very dispointed with hyundai as there was no feedback from them when we called the call centre. I would apreaciate some feedback from hyundai south africa urgently and look into this problem.
