Anything to avoid honouring the 5 year warranty

When the brakes of our family car, a Hyundai Santa fe, failed we were pleased no one was hurt. Turns out that the brake pipe perforated. <br> It appears to have burst - although Hyundai prefers to take the view that someone had cut my brake pipe. That way they can avoid having to repair the pipe under the much advertised 150 000km or 5 year warranty. Easier for them if someone had tried to kill me or my wife and chikdren by cutting my brakes.
