Had to pay for fan belt fuiler.
I bought an hyundai i20 in 2023/12/06 At hyundai Somerset dealership, So on the 01/10/2024 i was driving to work i heard a noise as if the door was not correctly closed, but i couldn't figure out what was the cause ,i then looked at the dashboard screen it says engine overheating i immediately pulled off and stoped. I switched off the car ,when i switched on it just cut ,i then called my insurance they towed the vehicle to beillvelle hyundai, then they called me and said the fan belt was off the pully ,and they said said they can not see anything that seem to be machinical faulty but they only saw dead rats so they are assuming that might caused the belt to fallout and the were no damages on the belt they just tightened the same fan belt .i then ended up paying an amount of R1,035.00 which they said its for laubor because the warranty does not cover such issues ,i took the car on my way home when i switched on the fan it had a funny noise that caused the dashboard to shake i immediately called them they said i should go back i went back they booked for appointment to check on it that was on the 4th/10/2024 so on the 8/10/2024 i went there to collect the vehicle i was cha another R1,035.00 because they said they found bones inside the fan ,
Im failing to understand a new car less than 5500 km not even went for its first service ,with 5 year warranty, a fan belt that is tight can be moved by rats and the fan belt was not damaged at all
