Pathetic service

Wow. If ever I have experienced pathetic service from a car dealership was today after visiting Hyundai Northcliff.

I took my vehicle in to then this morning at 8:00 to get a valuation done to sell my vehicle to them. The valuation was done 45min later which I waited patiently, the valuation took less than 5min. I was told they could not give me a price on the spot and they need to wait for the dealer principal “Darren Naidoo” to come in which should be in about half an hour, his in meetings in the morning.

I waited until 10:11 then gave the sales executive that assisted me “Philly” a call because I haven’t had feedback. He said Darren is still not in and he will get back to me. Still no feedback so I followed up again at 10:42, Philly said he was still waiting for Darren, I continued to follow up again at 11:34 with Philly and he said Darren is now in and if I could call Darren on his cell to speak to him directly, I tried at 12:12 but Darren kept cutting my “calls”, no call back, nothing. I called Philly back at 12:14 and said to him Darren is not taking my calls, if you could please speak to him and provide me with feedback. I called Philly again at 13:16, he said he was going to speak to Darren now, no feedback. I called one more time, he said he was in Darren’s office and he will give me feedback now now. The day went by with still no feedback. I called Philly one last time at 15:54 and Phillys response was eish meneer, I said to Philly, not to worry, you guys clearly don’t need my business. He said his sorry and that was it, I followed up for an answer the entire day and ended up still not getting any feedback.

Why did I try so many times?? I heard good things about Darren and he does provide great service and reasonable offers if you want to sell your car. This is not just pathetic service, you have a DP (Darren Naidoo) which such a level of arrogance and rudeness. Absolutely disgusted….
