Damaged Karl Sneakers

I purchased a pair of sneakers from Hydraulics Sandton City store in September 2023, I wore my sneakers about 3 to 4 times and I noticed that the front of my expensive sneakers were peeling on the nose which I did not expect at all taking it from the price I paid. I took the sneakers back to the store to show them what has transpired in the 6 months, I was advised by the store manager that they do not take back items after 3 months which I found totally unacceptable for this kind of brand taking their pricing into consideration. How does one assess a damaged item via visuals taken by the staff in the store and then you are advised that you will receive feedback in 7 working days but then you as the customer have to follow up all the time and after being a loyal Karl (Hydraulics) customer I will not advise shoppers to purchase any sneakers from this store as this brand's staff member do not know how to treat shoppers or even take the consumer act into consideration.
