Useless

Our body corporate appointed Huurkor as our managing agents. But can I please say what an utter mistake that was. Huurkor, and specifically Huurkor Admin (as they are now called) are never available to talk to, the phones are always broken, emails do not get answered, and they generally do not care much about anything other than their lunch time.

We had some kitchen damage due to a burst water pipe at the neighbour's unit back in November 2023, which was reported immediately. It is now February 2024 and after numerous emails and attempted phone calls to try and move things along as mould was now growing in cabinets, it was ultimately only when we phoned CIA insurance and the complaints department for Eldorado brokers when suddenly the claim was approved. And then suddenly we get a mail from Huurkor to say its been approved as if they made it happen. These people don't care. They are utterly pointless.

Sure it sounds like this is an isolated issue, but after living in this house for 20 years, you think Huurkor can put my address on their invoices. I mean they surely know people use their levy statements as proof of residence .,.. no. That is too much to ask. Just our names.

Our AGM which was scheduled for last week ... did not happen. Apparent technical difficulties for Huurkor to log into Microsoft Teams ... which they spell in the invites and all official documents as "Micro Soft Teams". They were meant to reschedule ... still waiting.

If you are looking to move from your existing managing agent to something cheaper ... don't. Especially not to Huurkor.
