Worst property agency I've ever rented from. I expereinced a finacial crises and and only paid half of the rent with the full intention to pay the balance before the end of that month.

I communicated with them my intention to pay the other, and on 15/07/2024 they made the IS metering company switch off my elecricity meanwhile my account with IS had no outstanding amounts. When I tried to pay the balance, they had added so many charges that it impacted my ability to pay rent for the following month cause I intentions of staying longer.

On the 17/07/2024 they gave me vacate letter which said I had ti be out by 31/07/2024. I didn't get 30 days notice not even a 20 days notice. They gave me 14 days to vacate the apartment, they refused to give me a paymemt arrangement so I can pay the balance that I owe and have my elecricity reinstated. I stayed there a full 2 weeks without elecricity.

All of these practices are against the regulations of the Housing and Rental Tribunal. After that I was made to loose my deposit with IS meter and Huurkor, while being expected to still pay the balance and I still have to secure accomodation for myself and my family elsewhere. With what money must I pay them now cause they refused a payment arrangment and I have a family to secure accomodation for!
