I would suggest you look for another property management company in Pretoria to lease from..

This property management company has unreasonable lease agreements. Please avoid leasing with them by all means. If you are looking to use this company in the Pretoria area, avoid them. Their lease agreements are highly unreasonable. They managed an old building I resided in Lantana apartments, their contract holds you liable for damages in that buiding which are probable because it is old, super unfair. I was left to deal with a blocked shower drain for 4 out of the 6 months Iiving there, a slow running gyser, that will have you running water at nauseum.

A flat above flooded and it seeped into my property, they would not be held liable, as per the clause in the contract and are quick to use the contract terms against you.

By taking that contract I forfeited my deposit due to early termination. I received a job offer that warranted my relocation and they will try justify their charges.

There is a fee charged for inspection+VAT and so forth, breach of contract+VAT, cleaning services and a months rent. I have also sent emails to JC which have been left unattended until I called, often times he would be in meetings and would not revert back to me. They are very quick to send emails relating to invoices. Denise is very helpful in responding to areas of work where she has somewhat control.

In essence read your contract and understand what you will be liable for, dont use this company if you are in a rush to secure a place, you will be bound and they will ensure that you do not get your deposit back.
