HUURKOR - THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH

Our experience with a student apartment in Hatfield, administered by Huurkor and owned by the Gloria Trust, has been an absolute nightmare. I would strongly urge anybody to avoid doing business with them. The apartment was handed over looking like a ***sty, the balconies caked in ***eon faeces, carpets severely soiled, globes not working, earth leakage faulty to mention just a few. Repairs would take months to get done - a fridge failed and was eventually replaced after 5 weeks - the old one was left in the apartment for a further 2 weeks. A burst geyser, with water running through the electrics, was replaced 2 weeks after reporting it. These are just a few over the 3 year period. Then comes the deposit, actually no it doesn't. We are now being held to ransom for an 18K deposit because in the last 46 days they have not managed to get a quote to replace a R 199 light cover and a R 32 globe. Looking at the other reviews, this is how they operate.
