Deposit payout 1 month plus

Residential property was vacated on 27 Nov with inspection done on 30 Nov 2015. By 11 Dec I was informed the deposit payout will take 15-21 working days from date of inspection. Upon query of payout on 28 Dec I was informed that payout/account clerks are on leave and all payouts will be made on 4 Jan 2016 when they return. When I followed up on the 4th I was told that now they are busy with month end cut off and because they only received the invoices from another department on 30 Dec they will only be making the payout by earliest 11 Jan. I took up the complaint with a senior manager who kept to her excuse of no-payout and after I asked to discuss my position with a director, I was given his email address and advised that he won't be able to assist though, as he is on leave...<br> Good grief, this is absolute pathetic service from a supposed industry leader, having to wait such an extensive period for money owed to you.
