Deposit not paid back

We were staying in Madeira Isles in Pretoria west, and one of the agents named Trust was responsible for getting us moved in. He then gave us an inspection form to fill in if there were any defects or damages to the apartment. He told us to give the form to the caretaker who lives in the apartment not far from us and the damages would be fixed. The damages were however never fixed. The day we moved out of the apartment, the inspector Jewel, told us everything was in order and all he had to do was submit his inspection form to Chani and our deposit would be paid. As time passed and we inquired about our deposit we were told that R2100 had to go into painting and cleaning the apartment. We disputed that the apartment was left in perfect condition. We were told the care taker moved out and never submitted our inspection form. A week or 2 later we were told that the rest of the deposit R2800 is to pay administration and the contract. Chani had been ****** or treated us in a mean, disrespectful and demeaning manner from the day we went there to inquire about moving in to Madeira Isles till the day we moved out. Please help with our deposit and the ****** nature of this organisation.
