Avoid this company

I lived in a flat managed by Huukor for three years. I would suggest you avoid this company's properties. Your deposit is not held in an interest bearing account and when you leave the premises you will not receive interest on it. They will not refund your deposit in full and will find something wrong in the unit when you move (they do not do inspection in your presence).<br> <br> A year after moving in the tiles in the lounge started lifting. I reported this repeatedly - finally 5 months later they were replaced. Initially they gave me a date and I put in leave for this date - nobody pitched. When they finally replaced the tiles they were a different size and colour to the original ones so it follows that the lounge and kitchen have brown tiles while the two bedrooms have cream.<br> <br> Report any damages immediately - inspect your unit THOROUGHLY. I had my unit cleaned and attended to everything but when I moved they deducted R450 from deposit due to a hole in the wall in the kitchen which I did not report as I assumed it was for the washing machine pipes.<br> <br> Avoid at all costs.
