Return policy for non fitting items

<p>I have recently started shopping for shoes online from hushpuppies SA. I have recieved good service until my recent experience re returning a non fitting pair of shoes.</p> <p> </p> <p>I had ordered all size 7s and 7.5 previously.</p> <p>With my last order, I ordered 2 sale pairs of shoes. Both shoes was a size 7. The boot fitted perfect but the ladies shoe (order U6YE0767) was too big. </p> <p> </p> <p>I emailed hush puppies to inform them that the one shoe(7) was bigger in size than the other shoes I previously ordered.</p> <p>I was informed that I should first deposit R180 for the courier costs before they would collect. They had a size 6 available. Buying online a great convenience but when the shoe does not fit the hushpuppy policy is not very accommodating towards the customer. </p> <p> </p> <p>Should I pay this additional fee for courier costs, it would defeat the point of the sale item. If all other size 7s fitted well and this shoe is bigger, why is it the customers resposibility to recover courier costs.</p> <p> </p> <p>The shoe is in its original packaging. </p> <p> </p> <p>Thanking you.</p> <p>Samantha</p>
