Poor quality material for soles which has "dried out" and completely cracked.

The soles of my hush puppies are have totally cracked - it looks like the material/rubber used has "dried up" and is breaking all the way through in all the "indents" on the sole. Very disappointing as I bought them to last under the impression they would be quality shoes. It is not due to "misuse" - soles hardly worn. I have a previous pair that I bought about 8 years ago with much more wear and tear that are still in comparable good condition. No other shoe - including low end cheap shoes has done this.

No willingness from Hush Puppies to own up to faulty material - just a standard "they are older than 6 months sorry" message. Very poor customer service - had to wait ages for even the above message.
