No refund policy - Hush Puppies disappointment

I purchased a pair of shoes yesterday at the Hush Puppies store at Mall of Africa. Today I tried to return it for another size but I could not find another size. So I asked for a refund only to be told that their policy is "No refund". There is a sign up front in the store that says no exchanges and refunds on sale items but this is not a sale item. Which leads me to think that I can get a refund like you would at say Edgars. Also, the salesperson never mentioned that I can't get a refund. Now, I have spent a significant amount of money and I have a voucher that I can't use because there is no size in the shoe I wanted.

I will never buy another Hush Puppies product again.
