Is your return policy in line with the CPA?

Your return policy will make me never buy there again. I bought a pair at Eastgate the Saturday and at home realised the left foot (that I admittedly did not fit in store) was just a bit too tight and uncomfortable. I returned it the Thursday, unworn, in box with slip and was told no refunds, only store credit. When I asked if it was in line with the CPA I just got a shrug of the shoulders and a complete ignore from the manager. He made sure to occupy himself with other customers.

I found another pair that was ok and was a R100 cheaper. Did they refund me the R100 at least? Noooo. They said they will throw in a pair of socks to make up the diffs and guess what? I had to pay in! So I left there with a cheaper pair of shoes, another R40 out of pocket and a pair of overpriced (and uncomfortable) socks I really did not want.

Just not good enough! All other retailers has a lot more forgiving return policy and they will get my business. I can kick myself not reading here first. My first and last pair of Hush Puppies.........EVER..........You can tell that rude manager there to shove his shoes where the sun don't shine...
