I ordered a pair of hiker boots worth R1,238 on a website that mirrors the brand site, only realised the url after the fact that it is a phishing site. When searching online using the brand term the **** side ranks top, the domain "https://www.hushpuppysouthafrica.com" shows up, this redirects to "https://www.hushpuppysouthafrlca.com/".

The marketing team need to review their SEO, as the phishing ranks above the brand domain.

I have submitted a phishing report to Google flagging the URL as a phishing site, please warn other users of the phishing website.

Got some laim response from the South African brand acknowledging the phising site but not way forward on how they will protect customer, please be warned.
