False advertising , non-delivery , bad attitude.

Ordered 6 pairs of shoes on 1st March 2015 from the Hush Puppies online store. Paid via credit card. Received an email from Hush Puppies notifying that payment was successful. Checked my bank account and sure enough payment went through. On the afternoon of 3rd March I receive an email from \Des"saying that 2 pairs are out of stock and the other pairs have not been checked for stock yet. I called Des who told me that there's nothing that she can do about that. No mention of refund or decrease in shipping fees as it is now only 4 pairs. Des then proceeds to tell me that I have not paid. I cannot believe the incompetence of the people you have representing Hush Puppies. I have asked her to send me an email confirming that I have not paid and I can guarantee that she will not do that. She is quick to say that payment hasn't been made but it takes her 2 days to check stock for 2 pairs of shoes. Am I expected to wait another 4 days for her to tell me that the other 4 pairs are not available? Where do I go from here? Do I need to take legal action? Please would someone with some care for customers address this issue. Regards<br> Dr Pillai"""

Hello pillai,

Thank for kindly for your note.

We have conducted an internal investigation to determine the root causes of the issues you have raised.

We duly note that Desire did send you a mail of apology yesterday and reiterate same at this time.

We do endeavour to expedite online sales however goods can only be despatched on receipt of payment confirmation from our bank and at this juncture, same has not been received.

Although the goods are ready to be couriered out and any overpayment that may be received will indeed be refunded to you promptly, we await payment confirmation and reflection on our statement.

Trust the above meets with your approval and understanding.

Sincerely,

Laurence
