Do not buy Hush Puppies shoes!

Good day, I bought a pair of Hush puppies shoes at Kingsmead Shop in Montana Pretoria. I usually wear a size 7 shoe, but when I fitted it, it was too tight so I took a size 8. After wearing it a couple of times I felt that they shoe stretched, and are now to big, resulting in it slipping out of my feet. I wanted to exchange it at Kingsmead, but they didn’t want to exchange as I have worn it. Does these shoes have a tendency to stretch? If I knew they would I would have kept to the size 7. Now I sit with a R400 pair of shoes which are too big for me.

Hi, I am not happy with this reply as I feel even though it’s not bought on line but in store, it’s still your product. I will definitely not buy or advise any one to buy your product again. Even though I bought it from them, it’s your shoe that stretched! Not a happy customer!

Hi Elmien, Thank you for your email, however please note that these are one of our best sellers and we have had no complaints regarding fit or quality. The material of this shoe, is a stretch fabric therefore not a manufacturing fault. We apologize for your experience.

I am very disappointed with this. Maybe you should inform your sellers that they should tell their clients that this is a stretch material, so if you fit your normal size and it feels a bit tight, it will stretch in time, so don’t take a bigger number. I will definitely not buy Hush Puppies shoes again.
