Unhappy, disgusted

This review is from Cindy van den Heever I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessional way this school handled a situation involving my children after more than three years of using their after-school service.

Following a minor disagreement between my twin boys over a lunchbox, I was confronted at the school gate and told I must attend a meeting. Despite making several calls during the week and explaining that I was unable to attend at the proposed time, I was accused of having “no interest” in my children.

The following day, I received a letter from an attorney alleging a breach of contract and full of lies. I responded promptly and denied all allegations. The next day, I contacted the school to confirm whether my children would be collected as usual. I received no response.

Later that day, my three boys were left at the school, and I was called and told they were “not welcome” anymore. This was an extremely traumatic experience for my children, who were suddenly removed from a fami**** environment without warning. It demonstrated a serious lack of care, communication, and responsibility toward the children’s wellbeing.

After two days, my refund of remaining credit was only paid after I followed up myself, with no concern shown for the distress caused to my family.

After a long relationship with this service, the way this situation was handled—particularly by Karina—was unacceptable and lacked basic professionalism and empathy. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this school’s after-school care service to other parents
