Nappy doesnt cling

I bought Huggies 4+ two months ago , the thing that is used to clip the nappy on the left keeps coming off , I thought I was pulling it to hard but all the nappies do that and I end up tying the nappy manual and it hurts my child. I have never experienced this from Huggies nappy not sure if I bought a bad batch.
