Huggies Gold, more like huggies trash.
Huggies Gold Nappies are one of the best Nappies that I've ever used, and lately my husband and I were very disappointed when we discovered that more than one occasion, our Son's Nappies were either broken, torn on the one end or like today leaking out.
We recently purchased Nappies at Clicks Somerset Mall, on the 20th of December.
We were at a restaurant when this happened today, and it was really embarrassing that we had to go and clean or son before even getting our meals, he peed on the entire seat and floor.
There were numerous occasions where he would poo and the nappy wouldn't even hold it in. The elastic seems to tear often, and the nappy isn't even on for that long. Please keep in mind that we buy the correct size, as he grows older. The nappy has tendency to shift around on his body, whether it's during the day or night.
We're extremely disappointed that this is what we have to experience as parent's.
The above email was sent by myself Ken and Monique Tissong, to Huggies on the 1st of January 2023 @ 18:56pm, we then received an email on the 10th of January with the following response.
Huggies response below - Thank you for contacting us. We are very sorry to learn about your experience.
In order to process your case efficiently and to authenticate it, please provide us with the following information:
- product name & size
- package quantity
- date & details of issue experienced
- amount of product currently opened and used that did not meet expectations
- manufacturing code (on side fasteners of nappies or on side of packaging)
- your mobile phone number
Please also reply to this email with 2 pictures of good quality:
- 1 picture of the manufacturing code of the product itself with reference number ***0 clearly handwritten and visible on the product
- 1 picture of the front of the horizontal side of the packaging with reference number ***0 clearly handwritten and visible on the packaging
See the attached example image of what the packaging should look like in order for us to authenticate it properly.
Do not pass your pictures through WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook or any other applications or filters, as this can greatly reduce image quality and may potentially delay the time it takes to process your case. We strongly advise you to keep your packaging and a minimum of 10 unused nappy samples until your case has been resolved.
Once we have received the above details and your pictures, we will follow up on your case.
Please note that the authentication process can take up to 10 business days.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Yours sincerely,
Juliana Ven

We then in turn rep**** with the details that were required as best we could. Only to receive a second email with the following response - Thank you for your e-mail.
We were unable to verify your complaint with the image(s) you provided to us.
Please ensure that the whole pack is visible and not partially obstructed, with the reference number ***0 clearly handwritten directly on the packaging. Please see attached an example of what the packaging should look like in order for us to authenticate it properly.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

At this point we're extremely ticked off, flabbergasted, disgusted and frustrated that we have to send the images and information again. We've sent clear images of the damaged Nappies, seriel numbers, batch numbers and product type was attached, why the heck do we need to send it again? Get your self together and get this matter sorted. We wasted money on several Nappies before prior to our complaint, because we still had faith not doubting the product, well that's changed now, we've lost all faith with huggies. You'll disappointed us.
I hope that other parent's aren't experiencing the same issue we are.
Regards
Ken Tissong.
