Disgusted: No customer service available in South Africa.

I had purchased 2 bags of Size 4 Huggies dry comfort from a Spar store in South Africa. A few nappies in and we were experiencing a problem with the nappies. The problem we experienced is that that the Huggies nappy gave the baby a rash on the inner side thigh of the legs. A very bad red rash. We immediately stop using the nappies. I contacted the Huggies careline to explain what we are experiencing. To my shocked and utterly disappointed and disgusted, there is no South Africa representative that you can contact in South Africa to speak too. To my surprise when you dial the Huggies careline you are transferred to a customer care center in London. I explained my concern and I was informed that Huggies can only offer me a voucher. No empathy and concern shown from Huggies side. The value of the voucher they wanted to offering does not even equal to the value I spent purchasing the nappies. I was informed that the voucher takes up to +- 2 months to be send to South Africa. What ridicules service form such a big company. They don’t offer refunds and you are limited as to what the vouchers has to offer. Seems like Huggies does not care about their customers and the consumer act in South Arica. Huggies is not willing to take any responsibility when something goes wrong with the product. Huggies, you have lost me as a customer. I will not be purchasing any of your products in the future.
