HP should't be allowed to handle anything

I have just received a sms notification with the usual reference number but the incorrect name. So I call and ask why this has happened. The consultant tells me they have made a mistake and they apologies. I then ask the guy that if someone else's name was sent to me, who has my name been sent to. I then get the very sarcastic reply,"We made a mistake, we apologies, you can drop the call now" Isn't this against the POPI act?
