Unauthorised Debit ***** - Hotspotter/Vodacom

<p>Recently I activated cellphone notification for my bank account activity and noticed a debit going off from my cheque account and i have no knowledge of who or for what R100.00 (R55.00 + R45.00) is being deducted. I have never been in contact or been contacted by "Hotspotter" .</p> <p>My money is being ****** out of my bank account for services that I never requested or agreed to nor received - I do not know what these service are if any. Every month my money is being taken without my permission, I am being ****** in broad daylight and do not know for how long this has been going on, unnoticed.</p> <p>From what i have read in these reviews it appears that "Hotspotter" is affiliated to Vodacom and your details - given in what most of us assume, confidentiallity - is being shared and clearly abused for ******** purposes. Taking something from someone without their permission for no reason other then to enrich oneself is ******* and thanks to the inefficiencies and loop holes in the banking systems this travesty is occuring daily to people who can least afford to endure such immoral and ********* acts.</p> <p>My trust in Vodacom and their affiliates has been severly shaken and I would advise all who have had dealings with either to review your bank statements carefully as you might be paying for something that you have never received or asked for to someone you do not even know, simply by answering call - listening to a telemarketer (who got your details from who knows where) and politely saying no thank you at the end of the call. Going forward all telesales/telemarketers will receive a prompt "No thankyou" followed by the sound of me hanging up - prior to them even starting their s****. </p> <p> Am still attempting to contact Hotspotter and my bank to find a way if at all possible to reclaim my ****** property.</p> <p> </p> <p>Kheraam</p> <p> ********** 078</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
