HOSTAFRICA not a friend of new businesses

ONCE AGAIN, I have been disappointed by this so-called "service-provider"! It seems like every single time I deal with them I am going to get upset. They just don't do what they are supposed to do and they drag their feet on every single thing.

Today I wanted to register a new domain. With everything filled out, I clicked on" Pay Now", and what-do-you-know!? Their payment system doesn't work! The little circle just goes around and around and nothing happens.

Then the price you have to pay, isn't the price advertised! Then you try and contact their "live" support, just to realise there is nothing live about them. After struggling almost half an hour with their Ai bot, programmed to patronize the customer with plastic apologies, I gave up. I still haven't registered my domain.

And don't think the service gets any better after you have signed up with them! I have another website with them and I can honestly say that just about everytime I deal with HOSTAFRICA, there has been some kind of issue.

If you are a new business owner, take my advice and steer clear of them. Starting a new business or taking over an existing once comes with a vast amount of challenges and stress. And trust me, HOSTAFRICA is only going to add to that. They are definitely not a friend of new ventures, which often happens when a company gets too big. They stop caring and don't give a **** to lose a few clients due to bad service.

They make a lot of money, why would they need yours?
