Beware of HOSTAFRICA: Delayed Payments and Unreasonable Demands

I cannot express my frustration enough with HOSTAFRICA, a web hosting company that has left me absolutely furious and disappointed. If you're considering their services, I urge you to think twice before handing over your hard-earned money to a company that clearly lacks integrity and customer care.

My ordeal began when I signed up for a VPS package with HOSTAFRICA. Initially, everything seemed fine – until it was time to make a payment. I opted for a bank transfer, which turned out to be a grave mistake. The payment process hit a snag, and the money I transferred went into the void. Sounds like an ordinary issue, right? Wrong.

To add insult to injury, HOSTAFRICA dragged the situation to an entirely new level of absurdity. The payment gateway they use, Flutterwave, started asking for bizarre and unrealistic documentation. I was asked to provide a SID that was never provided during the bank transfer process in Nigeria. But that's not the worst part – they also demanded that I send images of my card, both front and back. Seriously, who in their right mind would share sensitive card details over an unsecured channel?

I went above and beyond to prove that the money had left my account and was intended for HOSTAFRICA. I provided screenshots of my payment confirmation and my most recent bank statement showing the deduction. Yet, HOSTAFRICA and Flutterwave seemed to be operating in some alternate reality where common sense doesn't exist.

This whole experience has been a nightmare. I have been left without the VPS package I paid for, and my repeated attempts to get a logical resolution from HOSTAFRICA's customer service have been met with frustration and incompetence. It's evident that this company lacks any sense of professionalism or accountability.

If you value your sanity, money, and personal information, I strongly advise you to steer clear of HOSTAFRICA. Their practices are shady, their communication is abysmal, and their payment system is a convoluted mess. Don't make the same mistake I did – find a reliable and ethical web hosting provider that respects its customers and doesn't engage in mind-boggling tactics to extract every last bit of information from you.

HOSTAFRICA's delayed payments, coupled with Flutterwave's absurd demands, have made this entire experience a nightmare. Save yourself the headache and find a more trustworthy company to do business with.
