Hoover wet and dry

Bought a Hoover wet and dry 3 months ago from makro, worst service from makro and now it’s hone in for repairs as they refuse to refund me. Hoover blew up was smoke and whole house smelt like burning. Now I sit without a vacuum or a refund. Hoover is to sort this out and I get my refund of R1199. 3 months old vacuum, pathetic. The hoover sales man sold it to me so well ensured guarantee and now I’m the sucker without anything.
