Hoover is a terrible vacuum cleaner!

I bought a hoover from Makro a year and a half ago and I cant believe how terrible it is as a product. I bout the Pet 5 vacuum as i have dogs, and within 6 months of having it, it started over heating and turning off after about 4 minutes of use, not on full capacity power and not because it was full. The side cover also always pops off as soon as you use it. So i took it back to makro where the hoover rep said its definitely a problem with the motor so they booked it in. I got it back about a month later and within 2 months it was doing it again. I took it back to makro as soon as i got the chance which was 1 day over 3 months, which is apparently how long to service warranty is, so they sent it in for repairs again, which i had to pay for. I received it back exactly a month ago today, and it has already been over heating within 10 minutes of use.

Am i supposed to service this vacuum every month now and pay for it because they product is terrible? Surely a R2000 vacuum should be able to be used for longer then 10 minutes on non full power?

I think this is utterly ridiculous and when i told makro this, they say because its out of warranty i cant get a refund or exchange. This is even after the hoover representative said this is definitely a faulty product. Surely there should be some kind of warranty or guarantee for a product that cant do its job?

I bout a Hoover because i thought this was a well known, quality brand but boy was i wrong!

Definitely do not buy a hoover if you want to be able to vacuum your house!
